DR. PETER DRASDO
Before establishing DC & P GmbH Peter successfully led the business of a gas TSO in Germany as CEO.
Prior he held multiple senior management roles at a European energy company in Germany, Czech Republic and Turkey.
Peter started his career at the Institute of Energy Economics at the University of Cologne from where he joined von Weizsäcker Management Consulting.
Altogether he has more than 25 years of industry experience in energy markets.
His core areas are in the power- and gas sector, the commercial and regulated business areas, the commodity and capacity business as well as in the short-term trading and long-term origination.
Moreover, he is an expert in Nuclear and RadWaste Economics. His additional expertise covers the oil-, coal- and heat markets and he has consulted multiple energy using industries.
His main functional expertise is market analysis, strategy development and implementation, M&A transactions as well as organic business development and setting up the related business. He has experience in multinational corporates and medium sized enterprises and has built a start-up Turkey.
Peter holds a PhD from the University of Cologne and two degrees in Economics as well as in Business Administration.
He is married and has one son. His hobbies are hiking as well as arts & antiques.
